Julie’s journey into the world of hair and beauty began at the iconic Lady Gray Hair Salon in Reading Town Centre. There, she honed her craft and pursued a series of diplomas, training under the expert guidance of Schwarzkopf at their renowned Old Bond Street studio in London. Her talent quickly took root, and soon, she was a fully qualified hairdresser.
But Julie didn’t stop there.
Driven by a deep passion for her craft, she expanded her expertise into beauty therapy and nail technology at Reading College, training with Bio Sculpture. With over 36 years of hands-on experience, Julie remains captivated by the ever-evolving world of hair and beauty. She’s known for her innovative approach, continuously refining her skills through award ceremonies, industry conferences, and exhibitions across the UK.
In 1988, Style by Julie was officially born—a personal and professional milestone that has taken Julie across the South of England. From local gems like The Great House in Sonning to countryside retreats across Wiltshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, and even London, Julie has brought her magic to countless clients, all while keeping her studio at the heart of her work.
