A message from the founder
Style by Julie has been in Reading since Julie’s seminal years in the industry and has since become a familiar face in Woodley, Charvil and Reading’s community.
Julie’s career begun at Lady Gray Hair Salon that was situated in Reading Town Centre. Julie was awarded a series of diplomas whilst training with Schwarzkopf at their infamous studio on Old Bond Street and qualified as a hairdresser. Whilst Julie established her roots as a hair stylist, Julie also trained as a beauty therapist and nail technician at Reading College with Bio Sculpture. Julie is equipped with more than 35 years experience and is enthused by the progressive hair and beauty industry. Julie is known for her forward thinking approach and continues to attend award ceremonies, conferences and exhibitions to calibrate her practice with other studios.
In 1988, Style by Julie was established. Julie has travelled extensively across the South of England, and more local venues such as The Great House in Sonning. Julie is particularly fond of ventures in Wiltshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire and London – if not practicing from her studio.
